Leeks are sown from seed and raised in plugs, then planted out in early June. Leeks can be drilled direct into the ground, but this does not give them a head start, making it harder to control the weeds mechanically. Depending on the size of the order, leeks can be harvested by hand or lifted using a machine. We grow 4 different varieties to give us continuity of harvest.
